Recording: How Placer County Supports Positive Student Behavior at Alternative Schools

Alternative schools can promote positive behavior while reducing behavior incidents. This webinar will cover how.

By
Kim Wood

Alternative schools face the challenge of managing high levels of behavioral need while providing effective support to every student.

As you know, this isn't an easy task, especially in a year when behavior incidents are growing.

In this webinar, Kim Wood, Behavior Specialist, will discuss strategies for developing or enhancing core program-wide practices that support positive behavior for all students.

These strategies include setting clear behavioral expectations, providing consistent responses to a continuum of undesired behaviors, implementing effective student acknowledgement systems, and relying on data to drive decision-making.
