Imago Dei Academy, in Alamogordo, New Mexico decided to create their house names after universities across the pond. Marketing Director, Megan Hodges, says that the school chose house names after universities in the United Kingdom to expose them to prestigious colleges, in hopes that they will set their goals high. 

Each house has a characteristic associated with it that the students and staff are extremely proud of. As a school, they aim to serve others and have philanthropy events throughout the year relating to their characteristics to stay committed to service.

House Names

Aberdeen

• Characteristic: Honor
• Committed to honoring and showing appreciation for law enforcement and firefighters in the area. 

Westminster

• Characteristic: Problem SolvingCommitted to solving problems within our local community.

Oxford

• Characteristic: Boldness
• Committed to compassion.

Cambridge

• Characteristic: Direction
• Committed to encouraging area pastors. 

Warwick

• Characteristic: Wisdom
• Strives to recognize those members of our community who willingly share their wisdom with others
