Symbols of Strength at Hawkins Elementary

Hawkins Elementary truly embraced their student leaders when starting and forming their school's house system.  Principal Josh White shared that they started by splitting their student body into three sections, they then allowed the oldest student leaders (5th graders) to poll the groups for optional names, colors, meanings, and symbols/mascots.  The houses at Hawkins were chosen by the students for the students from the start!
