True Colors with Bowmar

Down South in Vicksburg, Mississippi is Bowmar Elementary. Bowmar is a K-6 school with around 375 students that are divided into seven houses:

• Red
• Blue
• Green
• Purple
• Black
• Orange
• White

Mary Quinn Wood, a teacher at the school, shared their house name with us, explaining:

“Our School theme for this year is "True Colors" so we decided to use Colors for our House names.”

Every Friday, they pull up their House dashboard in LiveSchool and announce which House has the most points. Then, to celebrate, the students in the winning House get to wear their House colors the next Monday. What a fun way to build House pride and a sense of community among the members!
